Fallout New Vegas - Stutter Fix

If you're using 64-bit, what fixed the stuttering for me and to note, I'm using an Nvidia card, were two things. The first one was the "dll" fix and the second one was the 4GB Fallout New Vegas fix.

Simply download these 2 files. You will need both for perfect smoothness, discription is in the files. It is as easy as dropping a file into your fallout directory and running an exe to launch game.

Anyone who has heard about tweaks or fixes, the dll fix etc. Must definitely do it. If you only have the dll fix, use the 4gb memory fix to make your game perfect.

Thanks for the info OP. I recommend you back up your original .exe before replacing with the fix.

It's not a crack. You don't replace any .exe file. It's not the same fix you're thinking of. That one is probably illegal on most sites, such as Overclock.net.

Probably is It's probably more convenient though, for the stuttering issue with the game.

This is the cause to the stuttering: "The engine runs at 64HZ/64FPS but the monitor is at 60HZ. So what the game engine does is drop 4frames per second to sync the engine with the graphics card/monitor this is what causes the frame skipping."

It's in Oblivion, Fallout 3, and now Fallout New Vegas.

Is that the real reason? Figured consoles were capped at 30fps doubt they run at 64.
