*Had to give 1x of the Trinergy's a bath.. had some vaseline somewhere it didnt like.. pretty sure the 2nd Trinergy went out in a Big Bang.. with my PSU last night .. stinky mosfets now..and no boot.
I'm pulling for ya, really hope you can embarrass the fancy gpus with the juiced up little guys. Sucks that the PSU had to take the other board with it.

seems like these things can get pretty expensive quick, especially if you are time constrained like this comp!
That's why we need NCspecV81 back for the forum warz, not many people would rock the hardware to death like he did in the last one. I can't remember how much hardware he killed, it was a lot for 1 competition...

Thread Starter
i apologize for the long delay guys..let me give the breakdown..

After prepping one of the Trinergy's over again, if was failing to boot..with code 'F'.. not the first time Ive seen that before ..seems the mobo is throwing a fit over me giving it some vaseline in all the tight spots .. AARRGGHH.. so...
breakdown->switch mobo's
.. up and running in another hour..
.. update the BIOS..
.. booting 5.8ghz..testing SLI clocks with GPU's at 1ghz core..
..23k on 3d'06..umkay..1030mhz core and 2300mhz shaders now..yes...
..reboot..
..blink*blink*blink...wth ..

Mosfets plus random moisture = FAIL! ...the worst part was, now I have no msi board to make submission with.. . Forget that it popped a 6+ghz CPU and a 750w PSU in the process... I GOT NO MSI NOW OHMEHALKDFOAISDHF;LASHD;FY;LHDL;H!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...After a few cold ones, I tore everything down..confirmed the deathtoll.. and went straight to Fry's and picked up a 1200W Antec to ease the pain.

It was fun and furious.. Glad to have been a part of it, just wish things could have been better played on my part..feel robbed of my shot at a last minute showdown.. But, I live to fight another day. On to the next 1x

Here are a few last shots of my efforts.. enjoy.

Now Im focusing on how to kick some arses and take names in the fake FW

You put up a good fight.

For the next one, may want to invest in some Dragon Skin. I don't think you would ever have to worry about condensation with in on. I should have sent you some but I didn't think about it.
