1. For people with HD 5850 and want a upgrade its easier to get a second HD 5850 (though its might not be the fastest solution)
2. HD 5850 is high end card and HD 6870 is mid-high end card.
3. There are not making more so they can sell them as much as they can and if they cant sell anymore they could be used for RMAs.
4. I would like to know how HD 5850 @ 1Ghz vs HD 6870 @ 1Ghz perform. ( I would think HD 5850 is faster considering the massive headroom it got vs the HD 6870 (100Mhz).
5. HD 5850 can do Tri/Quad Fire
6. Mature Drivers?
7. Its still a ATi Radeon card where HD 6870 is AMD Radeon

Point 6,7 should not be taken seriously
