upgrade to 7900GT :D... but the ebay seller hasn't shipped for 4 days  - Page 2

I have the 7900 and the picture quality is amazing. I notice alot more details in games than with my older card. (6800 Ultra) I think it would definitely be worth the upgrade, cause then you can upgrade to 2 7900's!!

I am tired of people saying to wait on DX10, and wait on am2.....why do we have to keep waiting??? I say enjoy the best when its out

^lol...

Soloz, how long ago did you get your 7800GT? if it's less than 90 days, you could just use eVGA's step-up program.

I guess you could look at it like that. If you wait for the best, you'll be waiting forever. Computer parts get outdated as fast as I change my underwear.

No kidding... you wait for something, a newer, better thing is announced, you wait for that, repeat. It's a never-ending cycle.

lol, no I've had it for about 5 months I think. my 90 days were up when the 7900 series were supposed to be out, but then there was that short delay and my 90 days went up... I missed it by a week or two.

Well that sucks. I'm considering steping up to a 7900GT, it would only cost me about $100. However, it means I couldn't volt mod my 7600GT... hmmmm...

yeah you should really make a decision man! I was just contemplating the volt mod to my 7800GT (soft mod)

the volt mod for the 7900GT... is that a hard or soft mod?

pencil mod. Sideburns used a conductive pen from radioshack.

Hard, but all it takes is some conductive paint. Sideburn did his in like 5 minutes. Slap a VF900 or VF700 on there, and you can let it loose.

Edit: I probably will step up, but I need to buy some other stuff first... like a case.
