And ive used ubuntu, and I have the disks.. I really didnt like it, nothing could install even though I was under the only account that it let me choose, which I would THINK would be the root user, but it didnt.. My windows is using about 340mb right now and its got Firefox open with 3 tabs, Trillian, and other programs, using about 390mb of pagefile....
Ah oh well.
Lol Jori, you have to install as the root user, in the terminal you have to type "sudo" before any command that requires you to be the root, in Ubuntu there is no real root user, just the sudo command.
For instance if you want to tell Ubuntu to run your NVIDIA drivers version 8756 instead of using cd to change directories to the folder where the installer is and typing
sounds like somebody was impatient and didnt want to learn Linux
