SERIOUS problems. Need imediate help! - Page 3

Well, heres the update:

That error is supposedly caused by F@H... yeah, right.
I currently dont even have it installed, let alone running in the background

I kinda messed up fidling with DX, so i reformatted again, lol.
I discovered a magic CD that came with my PC including drivers for like.... oh er.. EVERYTHING.

So, with some new self installing chipset driver installed, i tested again with the freshly installed 7900 with the 84.25 drivers.... got to the CPU test... Got through it!

Got to the last test... ARTIFACTS FROM HELL! AGAIN! w00t....

Uninstalled drivers, swapped in the 6200, reinstalled 84.25's, booted up, ran 3D mark no problem.

Im thinking its the card. Although it shows no artifacts on ATi Tool after 2+ hours @ 65c.

Im gonna try 1 more time. I'll put the 7900 back in and try the 84.25's one more time. I know those drivers are compatible with my card/system, as i was using them before i reformatted with no problems at all. And they work fine with the 6200.

Still, im gonna give it 1 more try. If it gives me **** this time im gonna email Chillblast and ill send it back to them on monday. They better refund the mailing costs... I've been more than nice upto now, but they kept me waiting 2+ weeks just to get the frikken card, just to end up with 1 thats well and truly ****ED.

Wonder if i can get some free stuff with the replacement.... hmm...

I could do with some new fans... and some of those silicon anti-vibration deelies... Any other suggestions for possible freebies?

on another point, damn my pc runs cool with the case off... 30c mobo, 30c HDD, 44 CPU, 44 GPU. Its kinda cool how my GPU and CPU always idle @ the same. Lol, my 6200 used to get to 90c on BF2, you could feel the heat 2 inches away, and through the case.
