Zalman 7000B

Quick question about the Zalman 7000B cooler. I'm planning on getting one to replace my Volcano 12.

I've got a Antec P160 so the PSU is about 2 1/2 inches from the top of the motherboard so I don't think I have to worry about interference from that. It says on the website that its compatible with the ASUS A7N8X, but when I checked it out at a computer store thats really friendly with me, it appeared that the heatsink may hit the northbridge.

Does anyone have this heatsink / mobo combo and can verify that it will fit? Or am I gonna have to dremel down my northbridge?

Ya i think it will fit, though i must say from reading some results of other members here they didnt seem too satisfied with the performance of the 7000. Just think you should look around for anpother cooler if you really want a good performer.

Well according to your rig description, you have the AlCu version. I'm looking at the all copper version with the LED fan.
