Upgrades to current system. Planing to OC (see signature)
Opteron 170 $394
G Skill 2x(1gb) DDR 500 $159

Building a new Budget system using old CPU, RAM, and PVR as a Kitchen PC for internet and watching TV.
CPU-AMD Atholn 3500+ Clawhamer Already own
RAM-Samsung M3 2x(512mb)? Already own
PVR- ATI HDTV Wonder already own
CASE- JUSTPC $60
MOBO- ASUS-VM-CSM $80
VID- Nviada 6150 onboard
HD- WD 250gb HD $88
DVD- Lite On DVD burner/ lighscribe/DVD ram $45
OS- Windows Home $90

For a total of $915

Any suggestion would be gladly accepted.

If you have enough, I think getting Windows XP Media Center would be better
And get a smaller HDD, depending how much you're going to record.

Well i was thinkin of putting my old 160gb in my new Rig, it has beyond 4 tv on it so its basically media center. The 250gb is probably faster than my 160gb anyway.
