I don't see any need for the stress tests as I can pass any of them with much less voltage. BUT in my everyday use which is really not too demanding I would get those annoying freeze ups for no apparent reason, causing me to down clock. I just hate to run any less than 4.0 Ghz.
Do you mind saying what you run (the Multiplyer you use---V-core and vtt for your 4114 Mhz clock)? Maybe I can run faster and still be stable with better settings?
Sorry for the late response. Here's what I'm running now:
4114MHz (22x187) @ ~1.347v and 1.35 VTT
My 760 is a bit odd because it's one of the few that seems to really like the 22x multiplier. When running 22x I can run just a hair less Vcore and VTT than if I was running the same speed at 21x.
I got a comment from someone that running a 22 multi is impossible. It's not. There's a trick that locks Turbo Boost at a 22x multi. Sizzzle showed me the trick here: http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/...l#post11252026Edited by Nahte27 - 3/13/11 at 12:25pm
