I've got the same temps as you at the same OC and voltage too biggrin.gif Using the CoolerMaster V8.

I've got two SS that somehow is a little weird.

During Prime95, CPU-Z shows my Core Voltage dropping to 1.2, but when I stop Prime95, the Core Voltage jumps back up to 1.264 (Bios setting set to 1.3).

Any ideas? >.<<br />

disable your turbo,c1,c3 and c6 states in bios.

that should do the trick :)

hey all. just finished adjusting a few things, and i'm sitting at a nice 4.2ghz oc with a hyper 212+, but with their 'new' TIM.

I'm going to push higher though. 4.3 is within sight and 4.4 might be achievable.

Just dropped some 2 different 2x4GB kits w/ bsod results for both. Do 4GB modules kick a stable OC in the teeth? I'm going to try one more...

Using more memory, uses more cpu, mainly the imc (Intel Memory Controller), try without O.C, run some memtest, re-clock pc if necessary.

Hope you have some luck, also check in what config those sticks work for your mobo, here, the memory might not even be on that list, but that's all else I can think of.

a bit apprehensive about the temps

as it stands now, ambient is 22-23c and 72c with stresscpu running.

As I'm still fine-tuning settings, these are tentative temperatures and are in no way indicative of final results.

It turns out I had a bad kit from Fry's and then another from Newegg. Ordered 2 more kits of the Corsair Vengeance Low Profile, Low Voltage and tried them out today. They work perfectly w/ my overclock! No blue screens and no more page file!! thumb.gif
