Is this normal? O_o... i don't have an air-conditioned room with a room temp of around 30-32c.
That's perfectly fine. Like I said, from what I've read my batch runs very cool, until it hits an OC wall, which for me is roughly 4.1GHz. After that temps skyrocket. At the moment, I'm running Folding@home just under "the wall" at 4.074GHz, and my hottest core is 62c.

Also, I'm using a Corsair H70, which is really a pretty good watercooler!

Hey all!
After a lengthy absence from my computer, I have been attempting to OC my rig again. A while back I said I had all sorts of stability problems, mainly about how my computer wouldn't POST, or would restart multiple times, kick my OC, and restart at default. Well, now the sucker is giving me the same problems on startup even running at default settings for everything! Been using memtest on my RAM to find any errors, and haven't really found one yet (one time the test quit to black screen after 20 min, but hasn't happened since or developed any errors 3 tests later). Did full tests DIMM 1 and currently testing DIMM 3. Was planning on updating BIOS, but wanted to test this first. Any ideas? Is there a better thread to plant this post in? Thanks for all future help!

i would suggest running prime95 3 hours 'blend'. not just small FFTs.

analyzing your situation, i believe there may be a hardware problem or damage that have occured. maybe a factor damage or you did something wrong in your previous OC attempts that hurt your components.

SOneThreeCoupe, 3.76Ghz@1.288v, Prime95 9hrs, built for gaming on a "budget."

No crashes at this setting. Not a single one. Heck, I got 27 hours into S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat without the game crashing once.

Hyper 212 Plus, push-pull stock fans, maxes at about 63 degrees C with 72 degrees F ambient.

Going to upgrade fans on the cooler and case and go higher. I think there's definitely some overhead, and airflow isn't ideal.

Printscreen only copies a screenshot. You have to go into paint and paste (ctrl+v) and save as a picture. Then you can put the image on Imageshack or Tinypic, and link to it here!
