With pins out of place, some current won't be getting delivered where it's supposed to go and other pads might be getting too much. Information lost or mixed up, voltage going to wrong places or not being delivered at all. I don't think anyone can say for certain what will happen.

Once you have them back in place all those worries are over. It will be like having a whole new computer.
What other options do i have? I'm kinda short on money. SO i really don't want to have to buy a new mobo and cpu but i really dont want to buy a new mobo either. Any easy way of being sure its fixed?

Looks to me like your doing alright getting them back in place. If you can get them back I don't think there is anything to worry about at all.

Now if you were not able to get them back you would most likely be having to look for a new motherboard. Though I have heard of people getting just the socket replaced. That would suck but is much better than risking a CPU.

It doesn't sound like you have anything to worry about though.

I have to head to work, hopefully by the time I get back home there will be some posts from you with a nice new overclock with great temps !!! Good Luck !

I've just finished getting it set back up. And it posted, which to me is a good sign. Its been sitting at stock speeds ( i think it reset itself from being unplugged so long) for about 10 minutes and its at 34C in bios. Don't know that thats a whole lot better or anything but at least it isn't fried.. I may try overclocking it later today. Right now i'm hungry! But thanks for the help/advice/opinions!

Its been up and running for a while now at 4.01Ghz with 1.24375v vcore. and i'm seeing lesser temps about 37 idle and right now the max load temp is 73. It's been going for only 25 minutes though.. But thats better than they were the other day for 3.9 Ghz. 90C was way too hot.. I might can deal with 73. I just hope they stay that low once i start upping the speed some more.

Would you still recommend i get a new mobo? if so how soon? And what about watercooling?

I don't know how you got such low vcore. With LLC on I had to set it to 1.3. At any lower I was getting FATAL ERRORs in P95 after several hours.

But my max load temps were about 67C.

I tried another tweak today - the spread spectrum I disabled (which didn't appear until I hit ctrl-shift-F1). I thought it helped at first, but it didn't do anything different. As of now quick boot was the best thing I changed - now instead of booting several times, it reboots just once and that's all it takes...

If you read earlier posts you'll see that I've been having some cooling issues. So to me 73 is a good max.. and As for the low voltage i'm not sure how i'm that low right now. It isn't 100% stable yet i'm still tweaking. just trying to find the smallest voltage it will run on. I also have my VTT set to 1.3 you could try that. It's helped me some. I was told that sometimes not having enough VTT could be the reason for having to give it so much vcore

Yeah, I read you were having some heat issues, but it isn't terrible.

My VTT/QPI is set to 1.25 at the moment...
