We'll see though. I was getting close but wasn't stable yet and was still in the 70's. Might pull the trigger on a fan upgrade if I have to just to get 4.4 stable on air.

It's hard for me to leave my 4.0 sweetspot and figured 4.2 would be pointless but 4.4 might be worth the extra effort.
While you're having fun pulling those valdiations you should try running some 2d benchmarks and enter them for the 760 on HWBOT http://hwbot.org/hardware/processor/...tab=2drankings
. You can enter your validations also. It will only take 4.62GHz to get in the top 10 !! In fact that 4.4 validation will get you in the top 20!!!
