Im testing right now at 200bclk, 20x multi, 2:8 ratio. Gives me the perfect 4.0 & ram running at 1600......

cpu voltage - 1.368 bios - 1.375 windows load ( I hate evga "without vdroop" option)
cpu vtt - 1.36 bios - 1.34 windows
DIMM - 1.66 bios - 1.65 windows

Hey denny, I was missing my sweet clocking Q9550 after all these issues... Then I ran SuperPI at 4.0 on Win7 with all these processes and had the similar score to my 4.5 run with TinyXP on the 9550...

Glad to help if I can. Thanks for the rep. I'm suprised you didn't get a reply from a Mushkin factory rep on that. Those guys are usually on the ball.

Impressive spread sheet. Beats my random collection of papers I've written stuff down on. I consolidate and organize then subsequently scatter them to the wind as I'm digging threw them a day later

I have bumped V-core to 1.300BIOS --1.280 CPUZ idle/load
vtt is bumped to 1.270v
I have passed hyperpi with it and you know the results of the prior sm fft and blend tests. They passed on much lower voltages. So, I gotta see how she acts over the Holidays. I'm thinkin she won't get a Christmas present if she doesn't straighten up and fly right.

My nice low voltage clocks may not be panning out as well as I first thought
Am I reading this right ? That you passed multiple hours of blend. Then later on you got the one freeze and now it is freezing constantly. Have you dropped timings on the RAM ? If not and suddenly it is no longer stable where it was and is getting worse by the day...... Try to lower your baseclock down to like 160 with the 2:10 multi. If it's not stable at the lower clock and spec frequency it might be time to find GSkill's phone number. Hope that's not the case but bad modules slip threw every now and then. Just seems a little suspect to me.

Looks good... Remember if it does fail, dont get mad. Just give a little bump to the core & vtt and test again over night tomorrow... (well today now, but you know what I mean)

So far so good,no freezes yet with the higher voltage settings. I leave the PC running all the time (can't stream movies with it off) but I do reboot often. My RAM is factory rated for 1.5 volts and that is where I have it set. Timings are 9/9/9/24. I don't overclock ram and for my usage the cas on these sticks is plenty good enough. I did run memtest on them at stock speed(before I got the dark Knight cooler mounted) and they passed 2 hours--3 tests.

I am thinking that the issues I was having are over now,but of course I will monitor it.

Oh, yeah I am old enough to buy beer. Heck I'm old enough to buy the complete liquor store. I will be 66 next month....and today is my 35th wedding anniversary to a terrific lady

Yeah i started out and had a few sheets of paper. Wasn't working out for me. I kept wanting to add info and such but i was out of room. Just decided to make a spreadsheet on my other computer..

On an update note. I'm running 4.017 at 1.224v average temps are about 77-80 with a absolute max of 85 after 19 hours of prime 95. I am really thinking its going to be stable for now. and it will do until i can get water cooling after christmas. Then we'll see if i can push it any further!
