Question about cpu voltage

Thread Starter
My mobo won't give me more than about 1.6 volts according to CPU-Z, even though in my bios I've got it at 1.7.......is there some kind of limiter on the mobo or CPU?? or is this there something else??

Yes it is deffniately your motherboard limiting you. But CPU-z has some problems in itself. So just go into your BIOS and check to see how far it can go.

I've had it at max (I think it was 1.75 volts) in the BIOS, but it still only shows 1.6 volts in the CPU-Z. Which one is right??
