How come the RAD has water in it?
Just trying to simulate any resonance effects more closely to how it would react in an actual loop. When I first started this testing, I ran it dry not really thinking about it. When I was having trouble with the GT15 resonating, people started blaming my setup...so I started filling the rad. Supposedly if the radiator is empty, it might resonate more??
After filling, I still got the same resonance issue with my GT15. I think it just happend to be that my GT15 is a bit more wonky than most. I did however find some resonance in both of the new sample GT15s as well as many other fans. The Noctua P12 had really bad resonance at two points in my test setup. It's usually indicated by a bump in the curve. In the end, I'm not sure it does much of anything...
Anyhow, it was really just to please the forum members, but I suppose it's a bit more like the real thing, and easy enough to do...so I support the idea.
