Problems with my 6800ultra

hello all
i got this card from someone...
the problem is that i see artifacts while playing games (oblivion and FEAR till now) ive recorded a movie of it and attached it...
he things is that i have a hec 300w power supply and its working even though its need 480 min... is my power supply is my problem or i have a problem in my VC?
please help

its not Over clocked...

Would definatly look into gettin a stonger power supply, if not try some aftermarket coolin to reduce temps.

Well the obvious answer here would be a better power supply. Maybe look for a 500watt one? Oh yea, welcome to forum and be sure to fill out your specs in the User CP section!

i had that same card it takes a powerful power supply id get a 480W or higher with a minial 18A for the 12V rail, after u get that the you will be fine.

Thats what i was thinkin...
my temps are ok i think
core is about 57 idle and 70 load
my ambient is 41 idle and 50 or somthing when loaded
its normal?

sounds a little high but only by a few degrees that processor runs rilly hot did you use Artic silver 5?

No that is completly normal for an ultra. They actually get hotter than that.

ill use arctic silver when ill change the stock fan...
suggestions for coolin will be nice

Well, I can tell you that some 6800ULTRA's memory chips break down over time and start to lightly artifact, then progress worse over time until even 2D-apps are unusable. (From an EVGA rep.)

Play with it a bit longer, then find out about how your doing on a warranty, just to be cautious.
