ahh good point, check to see if you have old metal cpu backplate, i screwed up the mounting plate on my old one but the metal one had slightly higher holes that made it possible to mount without the bracker and get the screws tighter.

The refurbished board will NOT come with your I/O plate. Also with that board your voltage is limited to 1.475 I think.......The refurbished board will come with nothing. No manual, no software...nothing. A good idea would be to go to www.asrock.com and download the drivers in advance and burn them to disk, especially the driver for the onboard ethernet.......before you break down your current rig.

There is a voltage mod that can be done to that board that will increase the voltage.........also a nice thread from here on that mobo:

have fun

Well in my opinion and choice I would go with a nf3 chipset for running AGP..here..is one I would recommend but at USD$89.00 from Monarch.

or this Epox for $65.00..here..from Newegg.

There has been a lot of misinformation going around about Vista. Is it going to be more memory hungry than previous versions? Yes. If you are running a Gateway P120 should you be concerned? Yes. Vista will run effectively with 512MB of memory and with 2x512MB you will have no issues. What many have not discussed is the graphic demands of Vista. Dated systems with old graphics cards and insufficient memory are going to have to do a little upgrading. You are going to be fine, system looks good.
