Where is the sound card?

Hi all,

i have just purchased a new mobo, and where is the sound card - is it integrated in to the mobo??

When i removed the other mobo, i could not find where the sound card was?

Would i HAVE to buy one, even if i use a headset?

Many thanks
Mark

Most mb's have integrated sound. It is a chip on the board somewhere. A true sound card plugs in like a vid/pci card.

Yes - It will be intergrated onto the board. The chip will probably be about the size of your baby finger nail; so its gunna be pretty hard to find.

The Sound Device will be intergrated into your Motherboard and the Chip will be acout the siz of you Thumb nail or a little Smaller. Atrue Sound card would actually be put into a PCI slot on the motherboard.
