MSI Afterburner Max Voltage Unlocker v1.01
 by AgentGOD

 Home Page: http://www.ultimate-filez.com
 Donation : http://www.ultimate-filez.com/?page=donate

Description:
---------------
Unlocks the maximum GPU voltage that can be set in MSI Afterburner to anything you desire. That's all it does.
For safety, the program defaults the maximum voltage to be 1.4v (adjustable via MSIAfterburnerVoltUnlock.ini)

For "boost only" GPUs (e.g. +100 mV), the default maximum "boost" voltage is +500 mV for safety.

Afterburner by default uses arbitrarily set maximum voltage values to protect MSI from
unwanted RMA requests. But some users are savvy enough and want to push more out of their
GPUs, so this program was born.

Requirements:
---------------
 - Microsoft Windows XP and above, tested on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (both x86 and x64 are supported)
 - MSI Afterburner v2.xx - tested on 2.10 beta 4 and 2.00 final
 - A GPU supported by Afterburner for voltage tweaking (e.g. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295, ATI Radeon HD 5870)
 - At least basic knowledge of using Windows

Usage:
---------------
Place the files (MSIAfterburnerVoltUnlock.exe, MSIAfterburnerVoltUnlock.ini) into the Afterburner
folder (usually: C:\\Program Files (x86)\\MSI Afterburner for x64 systems). Open the ini file to
change the maximum GPU voltage. Then, use the included EXE to launch Afterburner instead of the
original EXE file. If there are no error message, and you see that you can slide the GPU voltage
to your set maximum voltage, then it successfully worked.

If necessary, you can pass command line arguments to Afterburner through the unlocker's executable,
since the unlocker will pass the arguments to Afterburner.

If voltage control is grayed out, you need to "unlock voltage control" in "settings".

Note: By using this program, you agree that you will not hold AgentGOD or MSI or Unwinder (a.k.a
creator of RivaTuner and MSI Afterburner) responsible for any consequences as a result of
using this program, either directly or indirectly. You also agree that you are using the
program at your own risk, without any kind of warranty, neither written nor implied, and that
you may void your GPU manufacturer warranty as a result.

This program was not created by Unwinder or MSI, so do not ask them for help using it.

As always, be smart and exercise good judgement and common sense; e.g. stop increasing the clock
speeds and/or voltage when temperatures are getting a bit too high, or when artifacts are showing up.

The honorable Hilbert Hagedoorn has kindly asked for this to be removed. And so it shall be. And to be compliant, I kindly ask everyone that has a copy, or a link to a copy, please delete them permanently.

Note: No official support from Guru3D, yet.

You can try, as long as the card was already supported by Afterburner.

So far, it just unlocks the maximum GPU voltage and voltage boosts.

For example:
Afterburner limits my card by default to a max of 1.35v, but this program lets me increase that limit to anything I want.

Perhaps in the future, I may add unlock features for the upper limits of memory and GPU clock speeds as well.

I tried it but the limit on the voltage is still 1.087, and I can't raise it any higher.
