I don't know much about water cooling... but I will give a shot at building a rig that leaves you money to spare fore the watercooling. You have any thoughts about a water cooling set?

Dang you just beat me!

Well... what can I say? I had same CPU, same motherboard, same RAM, same Hard drive.. was just thinking about PSU.. LOL

In other words, excellent picks with which I totally agree!

I would recommend a Pentium D 925 (3.0Ghz 2x2Mb L2 800Mhz FSB dual core). They are only $178 dollars and will be released Monday. With watercooling, the will overclock to about 4.5Ghz without a sweat. The 925 has the C1 revision, meaning it uses less power and generates less heat, giving a even better overclock than the B1 revision. Tests on the 965 (C1 revision) show it running 10C cooler than the 955 (B1 revision) even though it is running at 340Mhz faster.

Pentium D 925- $178
ASUS P5WD2-E $220
eVGA Geforce 7900GT $319
Patriot eXtreme Performance 1GB DDR2-800 $115 (runs at 3-3-3-4 on stock voltages, best DDR2 timings)
Sunbeam NUUO 550W SLI $84
Western Digital Caviar SE16 250GB SATA 3.0 16mb Cache $90
Gigabyte 3D Aurora (Designed for watercooling) $140

Cooling:

Swiftech Apogee $45
Black Ice Xtreme III Triple 120mm Radiator $70
Swiftech MCP655 1200LPH $80
Swiftech MCRES-1000 - Bay Reservoir $19
ClearFLEX 60 Tubing 1/2" ID / 3/4" OD $10 $8.90
Swiftech RadBox MCB-120 Revision 2 $15
MASSCOOL FD12025S1L3/4 120mm x2 $4.99x2 =$10

Total: $1366 + Shipping

That is a pretty powerful CPU. You will be able to overclock to about 4.3-4.5Ghz on the processer, at 4.2Ghz a Pentium D matches a FX60....

I'd take the Sandy over the Opty at the moment. They're great overclockers, and I've heard the Opty's don't clock as well as they used to. However, the Opty is Dual core, and might be the better choice if you want to be future proof.. However, if you want dual core, the Intel suggestion is not a bad idea at all. Check prices next week... the drops are significant.

Also, the PSU you picked has 2 12V rails of 22A... but total combined only 32A on the 12V rails. This should be more than enough, but just to let you know not to expect 44A on the 12V rails.

The Antec TRUEPOWERII TPII-550 ATX12V 550W Power Supply has 2 12V rails of 19A each, but a total of 36A on the 12V rails.

All PSU (Enermax Liberty, Sunbeam NUUO, and the TPII) are solid choices, although the NUUO as a bit of low efficiency for my taste, resulting in higher power bills and heat dissipation.

For vid card, look at eVGA: they have a 90-day stepup program.
