Take a peek @ ncsa's post on the NF4, you may find some insight... differnet maker of RAM but still TCCD.

Your modules are good, however the Expert does not perform well with TCCD as the BIOS is not optimised for it.. best to use BH/UTT or the 1GB modules such as UCCC, etc.

Look here for some TCCD timings on the Expert but these are with CPC Disable = 2T

You can try using a newer Beta BIOS these may have some refinements for TCCD modules.

Post your results.

Thanks I only ask as you both know this board has a vast array of memory options I left most of them on auto and the system was very unstable, I am just trying to get an outline of what they should be set to stock to give me a base to work from.

TCCD and the Expert generally will not be stable even at DDR400... the BIOS needs to be taken control of esp the drive strengths...

I have been doing some research I have also found that tccd requires lots of tweaking on this board, but some people have managed to get impressive results take a look: http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/show...8&postcount=97
http://www.geilusa.com/forum2/topic....ultra-x,pc4400
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=57317

I don’t think im going to get much over ddr500 I have seen a couple people with the same cpu as me hitting a ceiling at ddr500 due to the on chip ram controller not being able to handle it, I will take some time to try various setting and post my results thanks.

There are a few whose components have allowed then to obtain DDR600 1T with TCCD on the Expert... these are only a handful... the BIOS is gear ed towards BH/UTT or the 1Gb modules...

Your modules, while TCCD, are a different week to those of the GeIL ONE and so will OC differently.. the only way to see is to try...

Those settings I listed for you in Post 3 are for GeIL ONE TCCD running at DDR620 2T.

Do post your results and Genie settings..
