Ok I think I removed most of it but on startup a message pops up saying "Norton antivirus does not support hte repair feature, please uninstall and reinstall." I have uninstalled an reinstalled norton but it does the exact same thing? I think its part of some spyware or trojan I got....

I'm going to scan my computer again....

You will do yourself a great favor if you get rid of Norton, and get NOD-32 or Trend Micro. Norton Eats all your resources.

Sorry no I don't do that...... Everything works perfectly fine except for a few system warnings of fake viruses and spyware... I'm just trying to get rid of it.

Thanks I downloaded it and ran scan... found alot of stuff norton, trend micro, avg did not find.. It seems to have actually deleted it also...
I got spyware doctor also and it seems to have deleted some.......

The only thing I notice now is at startup a flashing icon on the bottom right of the taskbar...... and it gives me a dumb fake warning that I have spyware and viruses on my computer and to click there to fix the problem and download some crap..........

Download CCleaner to clean up all your rig's leftover mess, including Temporary Files and cleaning the Registry entries. Its free and is very useful.

Sometimes a virus hides in system restore,so once you delete it and start back up its still in the system.shut off system restore and that will delete all restart points them rescan your comp for the Trojan Hourse then delete it then restart comp and system restore.
