Hello good people,
i am going for a 7800gs for my agp mobo . I have managed to narrow down the cards to two , which one should i get ? the options are :
BFG 256mb
OR
Gainward 512mb with 7800gt core with 20 pipelines
i havent heard too much about the gainward one , but it looks much better than the BFG.
thanks

I personally would go with the Gainward one mate. Its Features Seem bette but as its AGP Im wondering if its Memory Ringbus can utlize that 512mb Ram properly. You will also Find the Gainward card has a much better Cooler installed and Exhausts Heat out of the system instead of keeping it in the System.

Well its always goo to check the Diference in warranty Policies between 2 companies such as Gainward and BFG. Bfg supoorts you Overclocking and the changing of Heatsinks and thermal Compound so if anything where to go wrong they would give you a new card, Some companies would not alow this as you would have voided your Warranty, as for gainward i dont know how far the Warranty Extends.

The Only Difference i could notice is that this one here has slightely Slower Ram i think as the other one was 1.4n this is the slower card i think : http://www.gainward.net/products/pro...products_id=29 And in Response to the Warrsnty thing no you will doubtfully have to Change coolers or mess around with the Gainward just watch your Temps if you oc though as if you Kill it you Voided your warranty.
