I can remember back to my original 8088, however first cpu I overclocked was a Cyrix 486SX 33mhz, I overclocked it (using jumpers) to 40Mhz, SX meant it did not have a math co-processor on chip, so its performance was significantly slower compared to DX chip's. I had 4MB of ram, and I had a Conner Brand 40MB hard drive in it, and even a 2400bps modem. Thought it was a pretty smokin machine back then,

God, I want to say a Pentium. My dad got it from a lady he worked with. After that, an old Celeron. I have the Celeron sitting in a box behind me locked into it's mobo. I don't want to get rid of it since its my first overclocked CPU. After that, an Athlon 5200 I think? Is that a model number?
Then a Pentium 4, then a Pentium D 820 (my first major purchase) and now, Oddyseus here. I have some laptops around I can't recall what they are.

First modem 300 baud. Could type significantly quicker than the letters could be transferred.

Processor 65C02 clocking in at 1-4mhz. 128KB of RAM. Apple IIc baby.

I wanted a 20mb hard drive so bad for that machine. The HD was a bit pricey though. $600.
