You should look into how it was volt modded. there are more than one way to volt mod a 7800GT. There is a BIOS flash that gets you +.1v and then there are other hardware voltage mods that require sodering on the board.

If it is just the BIOS flash then make sure you can get a copy of the original BIOS.

I did the BIOS flash to my 7800GT and I just picked up a 7900GT so I'll probably be selling my 7800GT soon, but I have the original BIOS on a floppy and whoever buys it I'll flash it back if they want. either way I'll give them both floppy discs. (one has original BIOS and the other has the modded BIOS)
