Thread Starter
well, ill tell you all, i did, see if any one can find out the problem, i have a
A8N-sli Deluxe mother board, with amd athlon 64, 3700, the only way i can over clock is with the fsb, of the cpu, wich i set to 230 , and, i lowerd, my ddr memory, speed to 200, so, it wont over clock, to an extream amount, because, raiseing the fsb, raises, the memory speed to, and i set the hyper transprt frquency, to 4x at first, and all this, maid my hyper transport, down to 680, so i put the frequency back at 5x, and it still, around the same, why, is the hyper transport so low, and it, stars off at 1000 megaherts

I find it very hard to understand what you are saying. If you look to the top of the page you will see (CP) User Control Panel. If you enter this area and set down your hardware you will help us to understand your system. If you use paragraphs, you will make your words less confusing though I will try to help.

You do not say what your DRAM is so I am going with stock PC3200 for your Dram Configuration:

Timing Mode: Manual
Memclock index value: 266 mhz
Cas latency (TCL) : 2.5
Min ras active time (TRAS) : 7
Ras to Cas delay (TRCD) : 3
Row precharge time (TRP) : 3
Row Cycle time (TRC) : 16
Row refresh cycle time (TRFC) :22
Read-to-write time (TRWT) : 3
Write recovery time (TWR) : 3
1T/2T memory timing : 1
S/W Dram over 4gb remapping : Disabled
H/W Dram over 4gb remapping : Disabled

Hyper transport frequency : 4
Amd K8 Cool'nQuiet : Disabled

Jumperfree Configuration:

Overclock profile: Manual
CPU frequency : 235
PCI Express : 100mhz
DDR voltage : 2.7
Chipset voltage : 1.6
HT voltage : 1.25
CPU multiplier : 11
CPU voltage : 1.550
PCI clock syncronization mode : 33.33mhz (Be sure to set this to lock your PCI clock)

Test for stability with Prime95 for 30minutes. If stable then increase your fsb by 5MHz. Retest and repeat until errors occur. Lower your fsb by 5MHz then retest for 8 - 12hours.

You very likely will make 250MHz which will give you 2750MHz. You very well will go higher but this is a good baseline start.
