Razer Deathadder 3.5G review. - Page 3

Sorry for the revive. I got this mouse on sale for $40. I read something somewhere else about sanding the glossy sides down? Does anyone know anything about this? I'm interested on how this is done.

Take very fine grit sandpaper (300+ grit) and gently brush the sides until desired texture is achieved?

For $10 more you could have gotten the 2013 version thay already has matte sides...

It is not that bad sensor as you think. I am using it and Razer has corrected few issues and overtime it will be fine when new firmwares will release. Synapse is ***** but it will get better in coming months.

See people has so many problems with Deathadder mouse. When 3.5G came out people were saying oh 3g Deathadder was best mouse because it had best sensor. Now 4G came out people are saying 3.5G has better sensor and it will go on.

I am not Razer fanboy and I dont hate them either. I just wish they make smaller lightweight Deathadder mini.

Do I have to be careful in which direction I sand? I don't want it to look like poo either.

That's $30 more than I payed, and doesn't match my theme.

On mine i just did it in like a circular motion. It doesn't really matter, if you do it light and long enough it will pretty much turn out the same way no matter which pattern or technique you use for sanding.

If you don't want to sand the side buttons, or you're particularly concerned with sanding the rubber shell, you may consider taking the mouse apart and sanding the glossy shell individually.
