Auditorium is the first one that's what i used but turn level to "0"
Also in the EAX console try turning on the cmss 3d on see if that helps.

Yeah i tried that and everything still sounds weird, instead of hearing doors open and footsteps all i can hear is what im doing even my onboard sound was better for hearing enemys
But atleast music and movies are better than before, but keep the ideas coming and ill keep trying them.

I don't know what else can be done but I will say my onboard C-Media sound card is better at EAX than my Audigy SE, but not by much.
The Audigy in Music and other sounds is alot better.
(Not a huge diff in FPS between each other)

I always had the EAX effects turned off on my Audigy.

if a game supports environmental effects then you should have the option in game of selecting EAX.

I never had any problems with mine and used it frequently for games and also mixing audio when I was studying sound engineering at university.
