ASUS A8N-SLI Mobo . . .

Thread Starter
I was just wondering, this mobo that I ordered doesn't say "deluxe" or "premium" after it, it pretty much is this in the name and nforce or whatever, it costs something like $120 at newegg and I was just wondering if this is a deluxe or premium and if it isn't what's the difference?

I also use the standard.
a8n sli - nforce4 sli chipset, fan cooled
deluxe - nforce4 sli x16 chipset, alluminium pipe cooled
premium - nforce4sli x16 chipset, cooper pipe cooled.
I have no complaints about my board, infact, I can happily recommend it.

If it doesn't say deluxe or premium, then it's probably neither. The premium goes for about 160 and the deluxe for 147. One of the difference between the two is, the chipset cooling, a fan for the deluxe model, and an aluminum heat pipe for the premium.

You will find the copper heat pipe on the a32n sli deluxe model, however that sells for 225.

I was gonna say the Premium is aluminum, and runs pretty well if I do say so myself.
