What type of connection is this?


how can i plug this into my P4 Power supply? can i convert it to a molex??? can i get an adapter???

please help.

That is not a standard PSU connector, it also does need an adapter as it has a different Function that Typical power that is a data Flow cable of some Kind. Can you take a pictre of the Otherend please as i think that Is an Audio cable the Goes for DVD/CD Rom to a sound Device in your system but that End shown there definatley goes into a Motherboard or PCI header port.

It looks like a standard four-pin Fan connector. You should be able to get a converter easily enough.

Right Wel that Explains it then. That is the Type of Fan that is powered by an Old power Header as such as the one you have shown me yo have to Find the Correct head for you to plug it in on the Motherboard...It will say something like '' FAN1'' or ''CPU FAN'' next to the Header you need to plug it into.

I dont know if they are typical dell fans but i had them in an Old dell so it may be there own little Connector so it cant be used with other Motherboards.
