post #1 of 8
Thread Starter
Hi,

I have no experience concerning overclocking.
Last week I buyed a 805 at 2,66 GHz and I want to overclock it but I don´t know how?

Please send me a guide and if possible the links of the software I need.

Thank you

Greetinxx from Austria

Ok first off you dont use software to OC a CPU as it sucks, you use bios. If you dont know how to get into BIOS press delete as your pc boots up. here is a guide of how to OC with the BIOS:
http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/...ing-guide.html
Read that a few times and have a go at OCing and then if u have any questions post back here and we will help you out.

hi,

I found a couple of settings in the internet.

vcore-->1.3
FSB --> 166
But I don´t found anything regarding to cpu multi, only a config which doesn´t work: 20*175; vcore --> 1.25 - 1.40
This numbers don´t tell me anything, are this numbers realistic or not?

Second question is that when I went to buy the computer I had no plan what is good or not, I only informed me concerning the 805 and it sounds good.

I have a NVidia 7300LE with 256MB --> can I overclock this too because it is slow I don´t want to waste it. --> if possible a guide and the used software (as simple as possible)

Please help me!!

For your graphics card download and install coolbits.
When you get that your cards OC options wil be unlocked then you can OC it. Just make sure it doesnt get too hot.
