Pentium 4 + AsRock p4v88+

the cpu ratio status is locked at 20. My motherboard won't let me change it. Anyone have experience with this mobo ?

That is the Multiplier you are Talking about. On all Intel Cpu's they are totally locked and are Impossible to change Regardless of what motherboard you got..Sorry its a pain i know. Unless you had an Intel Engineering Sample CPU then you can but the Intel ES is not for Consumers to buy.

Not to hijack your post , where would be able to find a ES so it would be possible to change the multiplier

They are Not Currently forsale anywhere...You get some members Selling theres here or you can get them on Ebay but not from a typical Retailer.

Thanks for the Intel, Intel = lame for that lol.

My multiplier is at 20 and I can't raise my FSB farther than 105. mhz without artifacts or crashes.

Well you shouldnt be getting Artifacts Really thats a GPU issue..have you made sure that your PCI/AGP frequencies are locked in your Motherboard.
