personal opinion i guess, i last used the 980 Sli on the M4N82 and it was great, tbh i aint hacking, if something works great, if it doesnt, find something that does lol, maybe i will have to go ATI then, unless i can replace the M4N82 i had....

and it cost $120 less than the 580
soon to cost even less
IMO that should last you at least 3 years or so
Pricewise the 460 sli is a no-brainer but at the same that's as good as it gets.
with a 580 you can always ad a second card and gain huge performance

ok thanks, and you have hit that on the head too, some work better than others depending on application!

I have what is labeled as THE crappiest of them all and I honestly don't think it's THAT bad.
It could be better but I don't boot up everyday go "ZOMG this mobo sucks!!!!"
My real issue with it is the vdrop and not even the actual sli performance itself

ah i was looking at that a while back, i decided to get the only other 980 available, the M4N82, unfortuantly it has hit the scrap heap may have to find another if i decide to go with Nvidia, if not then i will be going to AMD i guess.
