First of all...

How does capatalism NOT help everyone?

Secondly, even with Linux making ground until it is a fully capable and widely used OS its going to be hard to compete with the "standard" for market share greater then 5-10 percent.

I fully believe that Linux COULD gain a significant market share from windows if there arised a marketed standard across then entire spectrum rather then alot of very good seperate yet "not the same" OS.

There are more than one type of communism I hope you know. Not all are horrible fascist/dictators. One form is more democratic than the US's so called "Democratic system", which is really ^^^.

I'm a History major. 20 years old, and I bet you thought I was a computer science geek eh?

You really need to do your reasearch on history. Then the answers becomes plain and obvious.

I hope Linux becomes a little more popular in Europe b/c of this.

I'm a 20 yo Political Science Major and i never said anything about the US. I was speakign of free market economy. The US isn;t a democracy anyway. It's a represeentative republic. I am well aware there is more than one form of communism, however, people often profess to be communist without much knowing of what it is, other than the fact of them wanting to be different and rebel from their parents.

Free market economy is a good thing. I would like you to show me an instance in which a free market economy isn't good for the world economy, and i doubt you will be able to show me one. Communism would be a perfectly good thing, that is, if people weren;t inherantly dark and greedy.

All schools are political though...really....especially in the right circles....

I beleive i would have a great time talkign with yuo, as you seem to know your stuff, and i like talkign to people with opposing viewpoints, as i tend to believe that we expand our horizons in doing that.
