Raid 0 and non Raid drive - Page 2

Thread Starter
All thank you. I tried to map it over as a dynamic and lost my data but no big deal I burned my copies of "Hmmm" legal DVD's prior to this and will just reload. What a royal pain. I will take a look at at MaxBlast and see what it can do...

I had a similar problem when RAIDing two WD 250gig's and adding a 250 Gig WD for IDE backup. The mobo is a D865PERL intel board. This is my workstation and not my gamer puter. If I had the drive in IDE primary my BIOS, no matter waht I did, tried to boot from the IDE drive first...master or slave. So I put my DVDRW and CDRW in IDE primary and the HD as a Slave on IDE secondary and the problem was solved. BTW when the IDE drive was jumpered as a slave in IDE primary..........no drive letter and disk management in XP Pro didn't help.

Is there a particular reason you come onto a thread and act completely innapropriate and immature by name calling?
