i say get some scrap tubing toss it in a bucket of warm to hot water and 1-2 cups per gallon used let it sit for 3-6 days and check the tubing bending stretching trying to break it to see if a concentrated amount can hurt it.

i say you actually read the thread, 3 drops at the most before the tubing reacts to it.
