Yea I get some weird ideas some times don't have any machining experience or equipment, except for a little time on a milling machine, and other factory work. I thought you should advertise locally here on ocnet pick up some gpu money. Then I could find some help with the weird projects I've dreamed up. Yea, it sucks trying to dremel and chop saw extensive projects it looks like **** to boot. Cant beat precision equipment to enhance quality. I really don't have any thing right now as we speak, but a reference to a contact is really nice. Especially for the things you want to come out quality, like the work on the pete, The texas bumper was incredible. I only wish the DOT would let you use Red like that, stuck with the ugly amber. Running Outlaw just so the truck is done right.
Well believe it or not I worked on the build today. If you go waaay back to 7/11/2011 post 205 that is when I cut the blanks for the rims. Fast forward 1.5 yrs. and here we are....I actually drilled the and made the first rough cut on all 16 today. The whole CNC build started right after I cut the front rims and just couldn't imagine cutting 16 more manually. Well CNC has been done for some time now and I have used the crap out of it on paying projects, but finally got back on the Blade Transport build.
Here is a little teaser vid showing the first 10 hole out of the 360 holes needed for the rims and the mounting flanges. I'm getting pretty fluent in the programming so the rest of the parts should go pretty fast.
