Its the IC's (Inbuilt Circuits... i think thats what it stands for) on your RAM.

SOme types of IC's are better than others. TCCD is made by samsung and has the lowest latency of all types. (afaik)

TCCD ram can run 2-2-2-5 timings @ DDR400 which = uber

Actually, TCCD has the highest speeds, but must have loose timings to reach those high speeds. BH-5 has the lowest latencies, I've got mine running at DDR510 with timings of 1.5-2-2-0. BH-5 does not reach speeds as high as TCCD, and requires alot more voltage.
oh lol... well i duno if mine can do that, but i used to have some of that. my current ram runs faster though
lol ddr512 3-3-2-5 (EASILY) lol... anywhere over ddr400 it won't boot with 2.5 or 2. seems perfectly stable at pretty much any frequency i set it to with CL of 3
does this mean i have TCCD? or how can i tell?

so wait... bh-5 is the ddr400 2-2-2-5? whats tccd??
and how in the world did you set that last setting to zero??! lol
i duno, i always thought timings mattered a lot more, but i seem to be getting more bandwidth out of more frequency lately
technically, isnt dual channel ddr500 the same as ddr2 1000? lol... i always had that impression
confusing!
from what im getting... tccd and bh-5 are different types of actual memory chips... not the actual stick itself.

A VF900, Tt BT, and some AS5 me thinks

Although that might heat up the inside of my rig too much... Hmm, lets wait till i get the Tt Armour for my birthday in May

That's defn what i would get. I have the two heatsinks and they both are amazing. Best ones made for their job.

That way you can easily vmod the GT and pwn the noobz!

which GT? are you talking to me? i need a vmod... lol
i mean i put an nv silencer on there and temps dropped like 10-15 C (idle - load)... and i haven't been able to o/c yet!
i made a thread on it in general voltage mods...

Its very good stuff, I like it a lot. If you play BF2 (like your avatar implies) you will love 2GB of RAM. It makes a real difference.
lol got my Corsair XMS to ddr516 easily, its actually running UNDER stock voltage, 3-3-2-5... and 6.7gbps or so...
i touched the modules and they're barely even warm...
sry, corsair xms wins.
btw... whats £90 in USD?

£90 =$160.

Quite a difference if you ask me. I'd go for the G.Skill, although the Corsair is the better RAM. The G.Skill overclocks well. Many members use and love it. Mine has not pushed even yet, since I am waiting for my AMD stuff (yay..coming soon!!)

However, it's running 2.5 / 3 / 3 / 6 at DDR400 right now, which is not great, but it ain't too bad either. Also, when OC, Raw horsepower is more important than bandwith (although opinions vary). For excellent RAM on a nice budget, G.Skill is your pick.

G.Skill it is then. LOTS of people here have it, and it seems not one has a bad word to say against it. Either way, 2.5-3-3-6 and 2Gb is WAY better than my current 3-3-3-8 1Gb of ****ty RAM.

Just waiting on my refund from the 7900GTX so i can buy the 7900GT and RAM from Overclockers.co.uk apparently they have a rubbish RMA service, but i shouldnt have to RMA it unless im really unlucky. I cant get it from anywhere else anyway.

Chillblast are testing the card, so if they decide that it ISNT faulty, then i dont think ill get a refund. Idk yet. If the card isnt faulty then idk *** caused my problems with it :/
