That would be crazy folding if all were under your name, but something else thats fun, lets try to raise Team_Mixers rank! Lets try to break 300, then 250. With all these extra cpu's, Team_Mixers will rank up quick.

Congrats on the 300 jmc, ill be breaking it soon, with 1 rig!

Great work guys. jmc, you can just plug that switch you got into one of the ports on the router. Then that will give you some more ports. I forgot to show you that the other day when you stopped by. That's how I have all my rigs hooked up.

Also, keep an eye on your power bill as with 7 rigs going 24/7 mine went up around $50 a month.

I would use my 2nd "core" to fold for Team_Mixers but it would slow my other "core" so I think I will hold off on that. I broke 300 a while back, and am approaching 250 pretty quick, it slows down once you pass all the people who just accumulated points and then stopped folding, now you are among the actual folders.

its too bad there is a limit of three per person and 8 per team with folding or else we would be wooping some ass. cause i think between all of us, we have like 15-20 rigs.

By core you mean the virtual HT core? If so, in order to get more work out of your folding client DISABLE Hyper-Threading so 100% of the CPU is dedicated to the client. It will fold much faster for you.

Well, think about if jrabb1920's team, he would beat just about any team single handed.

I tried that and it didn't seem to make a difference in how fast I go through WU's. Maybe I didn't give it enough time, does it really increase performance by that much?

There won't be a major increase with HT disabled unless you're running a bunch of other things while folding. Although Windows will only show 50% utilization when folding, it uses far more of the CPU when the system is idle.

And you won't bud. That's all there really is at the moment. All I have gotten lately is 400's. I got a 20000 the other day that was worth a whopping 44 points. Crunched that one at about 6 seconds a frame. Plus you are assigned work units based on how the system benchmarks.

Not to argue with you here taeric, but I saw a 30% increase by doing that. It does not make a lick of difference if you are at stock speeds. I tested it for a week at stock and no difference. But once I broke 4GHz, it made a nice little boost by turning it off.
