You are good if it survives small FFT's for a couple hours in my opinion, but for a folding rig you could run small FFT's for 4 hours and then do a blend overnight (8+ hours).

i might not be able to fold a day or two, i'm trying to get my overclock stable atm. i've been running prime95 the 64bit version. so far idk if my cpu is stable at 3.4 but i'm going to double check.

Yes. That's a slight stability error. For you to get to 50% without an error means you almost have it dialed in. I'd bump the vcore up one notch or lower the FSB 2 notches and you should have it dialed in.

on my rig at 3.4 i'd really love to go to 3.6 but i think my chip is limiting me now. oh well. this is good enough.
i turned in a wu earlier this morning.

Excellent Secret Agent Allen. I knew when you made 50% you were really close.
I use folding as my stress test and adjust from there. Why waste 24 hours. Ya know?
You guys look to be doing really good this month.

how often would you guys suggest to reapply thermal paste? & i was thinking of dropping down my overclock from 3.4 to 3.2. only because of heat & electricity. i'd be going from 1.39vcore to 1.3250vcore.

i'm not quite sure how much that would affect my folding.
i'm assuming about a min or two.

what do you guys think ? or whats your opinion on that?
