im planning on getting a thermaltake big water system to overclock further. i don't like my temps.... so add a HUGE water system!
of course, water cooling sets me back much needed $$... w/e lol
btw, im at 1.45V 2.53ghz... i can probably get further once i get the water cooling system.

Hate to tell you this but the bigwater sucks, it's very far from "a HUGE water system". Also, I had 2.6ghz stable on stock air and was only able to get 2.7 on my custom water setup, so don't think that you can make huge advances on water, sometimes yes, sometimes no, my gfx card tho....lol.

Hey guys.

I got my Zalman 7000B CU today, and wow what a difference it has made in temperatures. I now idle at 25C (35C before) and I am running 1.45V @ 2.6ghz. I attached a bunch of benchmarks to show where I am right now, I am going to try for 2.7ghz now that temperature isn't an issue. First I am going to get it 100% stable at 2.6 tonight, which means upping Vcore to 1.475 and dual priming all night long. I will give you guys some more results later, and I be back very soon with more benchmarks.

didn't think you were, its odd that mine gets 2.6 with LESS voltage. maybe i'll try to up the voltage in a few weeks and see what that gets me.

2.6-2.7 seems to be where the 165's and x2 3800+s are stopping without some voltage and higher temps.

Also figured i would post to share my results with a 165 to compare

You could easily push that ALOT farther. 2.8 should be doable with your chip. Keep going man, you are on stock volts almost.
