stupid question - DVI and analog output

Thread Starter
I've got a client that needs to use 2 monitors and the card that is currently in the PC has only got one analog and one DVI.

Can you use both the DVI and the analog output from the same video card at the same time?

I've never tried it- so hence the question. I also don't have access to any equipment to try it since I'm travelling.

Related question - if the computer has onboard video. Can this be used simultaneously with the analog output from the video card?

Thanks
Bill

You can use both the DVI and VGA output. I used to do that when I ran my dual monitor config.
