advice for a s754 board

I did some googeling to see what can I buy to fit my needs (s754 + PCIe)and I came up upon a few possiblities. As far as I know there is only one chipset that uses s754 and PCIe, and that's nForce4-4x. It may be some ULI chipset, but I haven't found any board based on it, and honestly I don't trust its OCing abilities if it's not mentioned anywhere. Here it goes:

- ASUS K8N4-E Deluxe http://computing.kelkoo.co.uk/b/a/sb.../14117341.html

- ABIT nv8 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813127220

- DFI nf4X Infinity http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813136162

I plan on buying it from France, those links are just to have an idea upon the price.

I'm searching a mobo thet is a decent OCer as I plan on keeping my newcastle 2800 @2400MHz (maybe higher) and my 1.5gigs of ddr for a while, but I'm in desperate need of a good PCIe VID card. What do you say?
I had ASUS mobos for a while and I'm very satisfied, this one seems to have a max OC of around 262HTT, wich would put my 2800 just under 2400MHz.
The ABIT seems to be an excelent OCer (~330HTT on semprons 2500)
I suppose the DFI is full of tweaking options, maybe not as much as the LanParty series, but higher than average.

What would be the best OCer between these?

Well it is Between the ASUS and the DFI. I know that the DFI has an array of overclocking features, im not to sure about the ASUS but i here alot of good things about it. Really you should look at some reviews on thos motherboards and judge which one will be best for you.

I would consider the Biostar T-Force 6100 board, it has a lot of overclocking options. The DFI Infinity board is good too, but I have heard that it has a compatability issue with the X-FI sound cards.

The ASUS K8N4-E Deluxe has a good proven record for a good fair price.

You will want to Compare the Performance of the Motherboard against price if your Stuck for Preference but it seems you chose the Asus..Not a bad choice to be honest.

WOW, this is a s754 SLI board. Althow it's a weird SLI (x16 + x4) it's a nice thing to have. I'll look if it can be found in europe.
