It has to be said though in Comparison to the Hot climate you live in those temps are Expected.

For a better Cooling solution i would reccomend something like this : http://www.arctic-cooling.com/vga2.php?idx=91
As above said youwill be fighting as losing battle witout better cooling .Wait till you can afford or find some better cooling perhaps opening the sid of the case and putting a table fan next to it blowing into the system may help abit

mate, the easiest thing to do to reduce ur temps is to just open the case side panel and run ur comp like that. check ur temps after doing this and come back and report ur temps. we shall see if u have any difference.

Just to make sure take the standard cooler off and re apply the thermal paste and then see how it goes.

If you are Re-applying any thermal Compound go with AS5 for bes cooling Results Just becareful not to get any AS5 on the PCB as AS5 is conductive due to the Micronized Silver in it and could cause your card to short out. Just put a blob about the size of a rice grain ontop of the GPU and you will be ok.

.... No.. Its not.. Graphics cards can easily take over 50C. 50C is absolutely nothing to them lol.

yeup they can take a lot more then 50c, mines idles at about 52c as the matter of fact and maybe goes to mid 60's during gaming however i wouldnt worry till your reaching 80's

but tip wise, go with the as5 and maybe invest in some better cooling...both will help temps pretty nicely..also for the meantime, taking off the side of the case and having a fan on it has gave me some good results in the past, maybe try that and see what happens

guys I used systool to monitor temps. It says at idle GPU temp is 68C atload its 81C. Ambient is 49C. I have opened the case at the side. And the problem buying peripherals in India is that they r not easily available and after a lot of fuss they cost a pretty buck. And about thermal paste, Ive never really removed the heatsink and fan off my card. So i dont know much about that.
