How To Enable Hybrid SLI?

I am building a system for a friend and just installed the video card. It is a GeForce GTS450 and running on an MSI NF750-G55 board. I just installed the drivers and want to know how to enable Hybrid SLI. I don't see any option for it in the nVidia CP. Is it automatically enabled? Should I install drivers from the mobo cd?

I installed the most recent drivers downloaded from the evga website.

This is the first time I have ever dealt with an nVidia card (I am an ATI guy). Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I'm pretty sure that only specific nForce chipsets can support Hybrid SLI. Support for it ended with the GTX 280 I believe.

Dont worry you are not missing anything by not having Hybrid SLI.

It was good in theory, but terrible in execution.

your friend has a nForce chipset board (I overlooked that detail ) you have to go to the BIOS to enable it. Give that a go.

Well I rebooted into the BIOS and sure enough there was the Hybrid SLI option. I enabled it and when Windows started up it went through the "Installing New Device" deal, and then said the chipset was installed. I checked nVidia CP again and although it showed that the Hybrid SLI chipset was present, it didn't give me an option to enable it or anything like that. I re-ran Heaven 2.1 and got the same exact score as before. I guess like you said it is no longer supported :-/

NVIDIA dropped Hybrid SLI support over a year ago. It only works on older cards.
