Very nice Swolern, you're probably in the 208 range w/ higher memory. This is why I started this thread, keep it going.

I didnt know Gflops scores diminish big-time with Hyperthreading. With HT enabled my scores dropped to 130s.

I came across a post on Toms forums that indicated that the current version of Linpack can't make good use of HT, which is why the numbers are skewed. If there is another Gflops tool that can use HT, please post.

It isn't so much that your Gflops are low, IBT/Linpack just can't use it.

Ground Rules: Post your rig
Minimum: Processor, Ghz, RAM, OS
Helpful: Mobo, RAM Freq, HD Setup

124.8 Gflops
  • i5-3570k @ 4.6 Ghz
  • 8 Gb 1600 mhz @ 2000 mhz
  • Win7 sp1
  • MSI Z77-GD65
  • Samsung SSD

Thread merged.

I will PM OP for updating thread.

It is great that we're merging threads, but everyone needs to keep in mind that the last live update prior to resurrection was ~2011. Many of the numbers in the OP are deceiving because many of the numbers were probably pulled prior to Win7 SP1. Which means that AVX wasn't being used, so it was producing low Gflops.

We need Ivy and now Haswell guys putting up numbers so that we can all start seeing where we want to go for hardware.

Howdy...

I have a I7 4770K @ 4.5 Ghz @ 1.2V
16 G of 1600 Memory
Windows 7 x64 SP1..
Let me know if you need anything else

Bump and resurrect. Would love to see numbers from Haswell and Haswell-E guys. Ideally, new thread that gets post 1 updated.
