Make the start menu more resp0nsive

Heres a wee registry hack I found useful,, theres me thinking its my computer slowing up when i clicked start menu,, it took like 3 secs to show...but it was down to this hack.

By default theres a start menu delay, but this can easily be changed.

Go to start
>Run
>type Regedit
>go to HKEY/CURRENTUSER/CONTROL PANEL/ THEN DESKTOP....yOU WILL SEE MENUSHOWDELAY

DOUBLE CLICK THIS AND ENTER 0 TO TURN OF THE MENU DELAY.

EXIT THE REGISTRY AND REBOOT.

THE START MENU SHOUD BE MORE RESPONSIVE.

Worked for me.

Heres another simple tweak...open up My computer>tools>folderOptions>View

Uncheck 'Automatically search for Network folders and Printers' .
Then click apply>Close my computer then open it..

Should be more responsive!!!
