water cooling

Thread Starter
I'm looking for a water cooling kit for my rig. I want to cool my cpu, GPU, and possibly my chipset. But I've been looking around, and there are a lot of options. I was thinking of something from maybe DangerDen or Swiftech. Are there any good water cooling kits that you would recommend? It doesn't have to be danger den or swiftech, I just need a place to start.

Your two picks are probably the best around, Dangerden is more of a custom jobby setup, swiftech is a prebuilt, but from what I've seen heard, still good.

This should really be in the WC forum though, not the AMD General.

well you can put together something really nice for that!

cpu block - swiftech apogee 45-50
gpu block - dd maze 4 - 50
chipset - don't worry about it unless you really want a chipset block
pump - dd D5 or Swiftech MCP655 (same pump) - 85
rad - double heater core or tripple rad - 35-55

Yea, for that amount, you can get some great cooling like solo suggested.

Thanks. I was just looking at the dbl heater core from dd. It's like 35 or something. Are you getting good performance from a double heater core? Would you mount it to the back of your case outside?

yeah a double heater core will give you very good performance (better than a double rad) it really depends on what type of setup you want. most people that use heater cores do an external setup with some sort of housing for the pump, res and rad. I wanted an internal setup so I used a swiftech radbox to mount my heatercore on the back of my case.

Oh man, these cores pwn. I run 3 PCs off 2 of them and get awesome temps.
