Remember now, one factory can screw alot of things up. Crosshair Formula? I'm sure Asus had a fit when they found out that that factory churned out Board after Board with two different standoff heights under the Heatsink.
Not saying you're wrong but I'm trying to figure out how a system over 50 years old is so flawed from one screw to another. Only way I could see this is if the sorter overflowed and mixed in different length screws.
you have point there, seems the spacing between the channels and the screw holes may have been a smidgen too close, ~1/32.
To be on the safe side, I added washers to the good rad.
Anyways, a new RX480 has been ordered. I'm going to ask around for a good radiator shop to fix this one and then sell it. Best thing to do is to remove the housing and get to the channels properly, but my novice skills can't take me that far
